Nathan is a PhD candidate in the department of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry at the University of Queensland. He has taught in Queensland high schools for over a decade, mainly in the senior subject of Philosophy and Reason (PAR).
Nathan is heavily involved in the development of Philosophy in schools. He has worked with the QCAA as a syllabus writer, served on the state Philosophy panel, facilitated state philosothons, acted as a school-university liaison, has been the Queensland state representative for the Federation of Australasian Philosophy in Schools Associations, and has delivered professional development to many schools and teachers across Queensland.
