Social and Political Philosophy: Public Lecture by A. C. Grayling
To support the new Philosophy and Reason curriculum, the UQCTP is organising a public lecture on Social and Political Philosophy by Professor A. C. Grayling
Professor Grayling is a renowned British philosopher and writer; Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, the Royal Society of Arts, and the World Economic Forum; founder and master of the New College of the Humanities. He is author of forty books including, most recently, The History of Philosophy; Democracy and its Crisis, and The Age of Genius: The Seventeenth Century and the Birth of the Modern Mind.
Prof Grayling will deliver a forty minute lecture followed by Q&A.
The event is organised in partnership with All Saints Anglican College. It is open to all secondary school students and teachers, UQ students and staff.
Registration is required due to limited room capability.
